A Chocoholic's Rhetoric

I'm in a bit of a silly mode, so here goes:

Tribute to Chocolate

Sweet or bitter, dark or milky
Melt-in-the-mouth, smooth and silky,
Chocolate is the king of food
Plain or nutty, it's all good!

Praline, truffle, brownie, eclair,
The way to heaven lies right there,
Ice cream, cookie, cake and mousse
Chocolate is the type to choose!

Raising spirits, gladdening hearts,
Boosting sales in supermarts!
With chocolate, who would complain?
Even the economy stands to gain!

Apologies to anyone who may be allergic to chocolate. This was in no way meant to offend or rub anyone's noses in it. I just really like chocolate, and writing rhyming couplets is fun!
